Hi Prateek, can we have details for India as well ??

  3. prateek Says:

Rajeev for India i don’t see any retail player as a leader, in terms of initiating the retailing in organized way we can give credit to shoppers’ stop, in terms of reach and sales bata is a raja, and if we talk abt value retailing no one can defeat big bazaar. so in India where organized retailing is still 4% we cant pick any one as a leader. As the big players like Reliance, Tata, Birla are now foraying into the market and are coming with different formats and national store presences what i think we should wait and watch and then we don’t have to try hard to figure out who is a leader because when the market become mature the “rule of three” will also become applicable and we will get out top retailers.
