BRIMS, is a society incorporated by the students of
the Center for Retail. A innovative and path breaking society which
believes in looking beyond the horizon, and finding new, and better
ways for an age old practice of marketing, and differentiating “Retail
Marketing” from the routine basics. BRIMS, as a society follows
a corporate structure, and works in strong hold of different teams,
having there own specialization. The teams are constantly shuffled
and students achieve the maximum exposure by working on the ground.
BRIMS,
as a society believes in more practical exposure for its members,
and is always on the move for newer and vibrant projects. The society
recently installed its first ever project under the name “SHOPPERS
MART” which involved opening up a shop inside the institute
(i.e. BIMTECH) and making it work for 7 days, with the whole event
left up to the arms of the members only. Students strategically divided
themselves into different teams, and took up the task. The teams involved
were:

6.) Visual Merchandising Team
7.) Ground Team
8.) Finance Team
The
whole event was conducted successfully.
BRIMS,
is now constantly promoting events, and developing various innovative
ideas for the promotion of its purpose.
